Clean-In-Place (CIP)

w3Synergy supplies both pre-engineered and custom-designed CIP systems for periodic cleaning of RO membrane systems, process & storage tanks, piping, and/or fermentation reactors. The chemical tanks and pumps on the skid are sized consistent with the application.

Membrane Cleaning

w3Synergy designs and supplies CIP skids for the cleaning of UF, NF and RO membrane systems. CIP systems are designed to be either standalone skids are integrated with the membrane skid.

The standard CIP skid consists of the following components:

• Solution tank

• Circulating pump

• Motor starter

• Filter housing w/filter

• Instrumentation

• Immersion Heater

• Powder-coated steel frame

w3Synergy designs and supplies CIP systems for cleaning of fermentation reactors, process & storage tanks, and piping. The CIP systems are manufactured as portable skids/carts or customized to fit the available footprint within a manufacturing facility.

The capacity of each w3Synergy CIP system is based on the client’s equipment requiring cleaning. The client has the ability to program multiple CIP “recipes” (i.e. cleaning regiments) and store them. Each recipe typically includes the following cycles:

1) Initial Flush

2) Caustic Wash

3) Rinse

4) Acid Wash

5) Rinse

6) Sanitize

The standard CIP skid consists of the following components:

• Solution tank (dual available)

• Circulating pump w/VFD

• Control valves

• Chemical injection pumps w/tanks

w3Synergy CIP systems are fully automated with the option of either Allen Bradley, Siemens or Idec PLC. Automation allows for remote continuous online monitoring & control.
